My name is Ira Runyan. Welcome to my world of Florida Wildlife and Nature Photography. I am a lifelong resident of Florida who has always been interested in the wonders of Nature found in this state. Unfortunately, over the years as the population of the state has increased, much of the wildlife that we saw in our backyards in the past have been displaced and/or disappeared. Now if you want to see that wildlife you must go out into the deep woods and swamps of Florida, something that not everyone can do.

Now that I am retired, I am trying to document the Wonders of Florida Wildlife and Nature in photographs so that it can be enjoyed by all of our citizens who may not have the opportunity to personally see the the natural and beautiful wonders of the outdoors.
